PRETTY MUCH GREAT

"Wait, wait, oh my God!"
This is my normal reaction if I am out somewhere with friends or in the car and I hear KJHK playing a track off of Andrew Connor's (Vocalist\Guitarist for Ghosty) solo album "Nineteen Now, Always." My faith in humanity is restored when I hear music that is this good, played with such confidence and outright charisma. There is no posturing. There are no empty lyrics. When I read the liner notes and see that it was recorded July through November of 2000 I begin to think about what I was doing during that time. I measure it to what Andrew accomplished in that time period and I am amazed. But when you listen to it do not dwell on thoughts like this because they are self defeating and the only thing that counts, pretty much, is you are listening to a great CD. I dare anyone to say otherwise. And while I am sure there are some tech\audio-philes out there that could find things wrong with the production values, I do not give a fuck because the music overpowers everything.

Andrew Connor's CD is available at these fine stores, Kiefs, 7th Heaven, and Lovegarden.
